I own Hanna Low range Phosphate and alkalinity testers. I use Phosphate tester once a week to let me know when to change gfo. The Alkalinity tester is also great to just know without guessing on colors what my DKH is at and really helps with dialing in dosing pumps.

4 I'm not sure I have a specific problem other than keeping up with alkalinity demand on one of my tanks and testing accurately would definitely help keep that parameter in line.

Currently battling low pH and upper end of acceptable Alk. I currently have to run to the LFS each time water change to test these levels after any water changes or adjustments I make.

And Subscribed to Newsletter.

I would love to have a less subjective measure of tank levels. Currently, I use Red Sea tests mainly and the colors hardly ever really match the cards. The PH especially registers are a totally different color than the card. I currently only have the HI736 Phosphorus Ultra Low Range Colorimeter. I love the ability to have an accurate human-readable value.

I hear so many good things about Hannah getting my new reef tank set up hoping to get water in it by the beginning of April. April 6 is my birthday would be a great birthday present. I signed up for the newsletter, I like it and posted on Facebook I follow on Instagram.

All three completed. I would use a Hanna checker to make sure my parameters stay within desired ranges. It’s so hard to get accurate results that you can rely on with tests kits.
