I love my tank 3.5 stars out of 5. The 112 is sweet. But, i dislike the center overflow. Its been a fight working with water flow.

Canopy will stop the kuds from looking into lights, if overflow has the cover, that will keep fish from going into the overflow. Canopy has also kept my jumpers from getting out. And my h. Leu, is always making a splash and hitting my lights. The euro hrace keeps Eli my ribbon from venturing above waterline.

Thinking about selling the noop minis, 2 of them, if anyone wants/needs them? They grew all the corals fine but the btas wanted more. Not sure how much to price them at so I thought I'd throw it out there to the cronies first.

So mad right now.

Took my truck to another shop for repair. This in itself is very rare since my husband is a mechanic and not many things stump him. But they're has been a shifting issue with the tranny that we can't figure out. We just don't have the high tech computers it takes to diagnose transmissions.

Tranny shop diagnosed as a valve body. 2k to fix. We said ok, reluctantly. We find out they are charging us an 80% mark up on the part, OEM part is 750, we're now paying $1100. And Fords hours to repair is only 2.5 hrs. To take it to the dealer would have been around $1700. They were just too booked out.

So now, the valve body didn't fix it, they have given us 5 different excuses about why it didn't work, and now trying to upsell an $8k rebuilt tranny.

Not. Happening.

Not going to pay that ridiculous markup on a part my truck actually didn't need. Not going to pay for doubled hours for misdiagnosing. Absolutely not buying a tranny from there. If it truly needs one we'll buy a good one and the hubs will install.

And of course we drove it in and now we have to haul it away, it no longer drives.

I recorded the convos between the hubs and the mechanic saying "we don't mark up parts, it's the same cost as Ford"

So I'll be walking in tomorrow with the printed Ford quote and the recorded convos and compare the two prices.

$750 Valve body from Ford (looked up with my vin so the exact part.) this is retail to anyone, my actual cost is $604 with a wholesale account.

Plus 45% markup . This is what they told me over the phone was the ACTUAL part cost. Said "no mark up, straight from Ford"

And the rest of the $912 Bill should be fluids and 3 hrs labor.

The problem here is, shop thought hubs was just another dum hillbilly and had no idea what we know. He's on a first name basis with the parts dept at Ford, and has even sold them parts to their body shop a few times.

Tomorrow shall be interesting.....
