We are not in agreement on how macna handles it’s cycles. tracing the money that generates is fun and legit science. Money is changing hands due to the gradient, thank you for adding to the discussion

we already know macna was full of awesome reefs and even better corals and rare animals for sale, I thought it would be neat to look at behind the scenes truth vs fiction on how they pull it off for 25 yrs while forums are decades behind in cycle practice.

I can't even locate a single formal cycling article we reference for new keepers that discusses skip cycle biology.

No offense, but @brandon429 why do you feel the need to turn every single thread on the forum into one of your bacteria/sand debates? You already have enough threads fully dedicated to it. You seem to have some sort of chip on your shoulder about this issue

LOL I was thinking the same thing. I'm going to go start a new thread about my cat and see how long to takes to turn into a bacteria cycle thread. ;-)

Regarding the original subject of *this* thread, I really enjoyed this year's online version of MACNA, although I really missed seeing everybody in person and hanging out. But given the circumstances I think the presentations were really informative and the online social events were pretty fun. We've been talking about the feedback we got about the things that people liked about the online version and are going to see if there are ways to possibly incorporate those parts into the future in-person shows. Hope to see everybody in Atlanta next year!
