Sorry im late. fell asleep! back now.

I want one, but afraid of the violence. Just saw something that compared it to pectinia and one other I have so it may not make much of a difference.

what Anne said above. My tank has been stable around 20ppm nitrates and .25-.3 phos and mine are doing fine. got them a month ago. If i buy this sale I will target a berrywinkle.

If the tank's been stable
My tank is currently sitting at Phos of 0 and Nitrates of 7, so maybe not quite right for them

Anyone have one in their tank? I have no idea how they grow.

Mine hasn't grown a ton since I've gotten it, and I don't measure corals to really record growth. But it is encrusting along the bottom some, and the "fan" part has grown up and out a bit. So I'd say make sure it has a little room!

I am not an expert, and the chemistry gurus will cringe at me for this BUT, I used reef roids basically as phosphate dosing early on. :grinning-face-with-sweat: I've since switched to Benereef (benepets?) thanks to @Living Reef Orlando. But no shame plug if you need some phos, just go lightly and carefully. Removing is less fun than trying to bump it up TBH, but some is always better than none IMO.
