I might throw him in the back of the tank for a little and take him next time I go into my LFS... it is just 45 mins drive away and I won't make it back for 3 weeks or so

On a brighter note, the snails have already made a dent in the algae since adding them yesterday, so fingers crossed I am getting ontop of one issue.. now that they might not all be murdered by the hermit crab.

I think he has plenty now that my cleaner shrimp is gone. I do try not to overfeed, but I don't think that would be the issue. Maybe... but I feel like he just has a taste for snail. haha

Ok so I just caught my hermit in the process of murdering a snail and another poor snail loss overnight. No wonder I can't keep snails in this tank!

I became team [HASH=67049]#NoCrab[/HASH]. My Emerald was a model citizen ... until he wasn't and started picking at my corals (despite plenty of target feeding and nori). And my hermits, while useful on the rockwork, have a fun time teaming up to eat nassarius.

i just had emrald eat a torch, I think it was sick as they never touched any other coral before. They always cleaning the sand or eating of the rock.

I think I am team no crab now.. although having to flip half the snails over and back onto the rocks daily is a little bit of a pain
