when i go i look for someone who is knowledgeable about the fish and corals and their needs. i also look to do a one stop shop for fish, corals, and supplies (salt, chemicals, food, etc). i like when the sales are friendly but no pushy.

I look for the owner to ask him where the good stuff is the biggest thing for me is costumer service. I’m loyal to good people

A non negative (positive) approach to reefing that is progressive with the times. It is horrible to ask advice about a situation you are having or an idea for your tank, to have the sales person make you feel like you should be ashamed to try anything or ask for help. But I do go into lfs stores looking for dry goods, salts, additives and of course corals.
