Guarantee on the coral staying alive more than two hours after it arrives to my house. Corals don’t always ship well and may be “alive” on arrival BUT a day or two later could be dead. This is the biggest thing I look for BUT….


Another big thing for me is how edited the photos may be. I want my purchase to look like the picture when it goes in my tank (or pretty close) I run all blues with my AI Prime and my AI hydra.


I also look at non censors feedback on forums. Such as here and other places.


Prices also play a role and selection available.

So I bumped my dosing of all up because it dropped from 9.5 to 8.6. Between the two doses since my last test I’m back to 9.3 doses were 12hr apart. I think I want to get my tank closer to 9. But I guess I need to determine what my alk is in the morning (after the last dose) and at night (before the 1st dose)…..consumption is definitely going up but that shouldn’t surprise me right!!! And here I am going to add more corals

You know I think are problem is saying “I’m not going to buy any more corals”

I like seeing vendors that don't have hundreds of coral on their site ALL THE TIME. Not only is it overwhelming, but it makes me question the quality.

There also needs to be willingness to communicate with customers about their business. I won't buy if I haven't met them in person or they aren't interested in discussing how they care for their animals.

I look at uncensored reviews. And someone who doesn’t have their whole inventory on a 80% off sale everyday. Whether or not I return is based solely on condition of the corals when it arrives.
