Yeah I was gonna not get one (controller) then saw the new sponsor page for the Leviathan 1.1 with reef pi so I snagged one of those.

Yeah it just came out. Essentially an already setup board to use with a raspberry pi and the reef pi app.

Okay found the integration kit to upgrade it. $100 AND out of stock :/. Don't think I will be paying that much for it honestly.

yep you were right. The posting in the early parts was saying it was not gonna work but then they changed it and made it happen..but that price blech

regarding the leviathan controller it is designed to be a cheaper option with as many addons as ya want really. You can add temp sensors for like 9 bucks etc

Yeah once you program the controller for all those steps for every hour you are pretty much done. I have not touched the remote or the program since i set it up. not sure why I would need an app, especially for the price.
