I have a kessil ap700. Was probably at 45% at peak. Figured existing corals were happy. Everyone was saying how bright this light is etc.. (got it used off the forum). I purchased some frags from another reefer here and his frag rack was getting 250-300 par. When I rented the par meter to be sure, at 100% I'd get 297 par at the water surface....

So I've been slowly increasing intensity for those acro frags. I'm at 70% peak now.

I have an ap700 for my 70 gallon, and have mine at 35%...also bought mine used...looks like I should rent a par meter and test mine...some corals doing great, others not so much...when I slowly increased to 50% lost my chalice, and really haven't had any growth...
What size tank are you running? Do u have a tank pic?

It's a reefer 250 (so about 55g) 36" wide.... you can't just increase the intensity overnight tho. I did 5% bump per week. So people do it even slower.

I increased intensity 5% every 6 weeks from 35%-50%...figured that was slow enough, 15% total increase over 18 weeks...
