was torn between the two. I'm very new at coral ID, at least with the small differences like poci and stylo...
Does not help with crappy photos either. I wish i could take better ones at time with my phone. My dang dekstop does not have a card reader. and the one i bought i can not find so i cant dust of the dslr and use it

They can be easy to confuse at first! Take a close look at the polyps on each of them; you will notice that Stylophora have shorter more retracted polyps whereas Pocillopora have longer more extended polyps :smiling-face-with-smiling-eyes:

The Pocillopora I got from LRO is a fast grower and very beautiful. I accidently broke off a couple pieces of it while cleaning the glass a couple weeks ag and the frags look like they are growing faster than the original.

I fight a bad phone camera and a cracked screen. Cracked still because I'm too lazy to find a place that will repair Moto.
