Platygyra... Those are basically sand bed coral, yeah? Or is it one of the varieties that likes slightly higher light? One of my favorite corals!!!! Its called GI Jane Platygyra. The whiteish/pink color contrasts the green so well.
not sure what the dim's are on a marine 90.3s.I agree! We're looking at Marine X 90.3s right now. I wish we had room for more than that.
I'm setting up a retired lobster tank - 110 gallon with a 60"*30" footprint. My wife told me I have to set it up in the garage.I agree! We're looking at Marine X 90.3s right now. I wish we had room for more than that.
Tall always works! I have a 110 extra high freshwater tank. 31" tall but only 48" by 21" footprint.not sure what the dim's are on a marine 90.3s.
go tall.
110X high as my first reef tank.Tall always works! I have a 110 extra high freshwater tank. 31" tall but only 48" by 21" footprint.
Tall tanks are good, but you have to have strong lights to reach the bottom. I'm using two of the black box lights and it's dim in the bottom of the tank.110X high as my first reef tank.
current is a 150X high.
dependent on what you place at the bottom.Tall tanks are good, but you have to have strong lights to reach the bottom. I'm using two of the black box lights and it's dim in the bottom of the tank.
purple monster and peppermint goniWhat are the last 2?
I havent found that the shape of the polyps make them easier or harder to care for, BUT what does always stand true is that if its expensive it will usually be harder and if its cheaper it will be easier lolAnd since we're on the topic, are Gonis with fat round lashes easier than the ones with skinnier pointy lashes?
I prefer them on the rocks so they can encrust and take shape of what they are growing, they do well in medium to low light and flowPlatygyra... Those are basically sand bed coral, yeah? Or is it one of the varieties that likes slightly higher light?
