Most gobies and blennies come in small packages, but their personalities are some of the biggest on the reef! These two classic fish are often some of the easier fish to keep and some of the more entertaining fish to watch. But which is your favorite? I'm not sure about you, but this is a tough one for me!

love em both, although if i had to choose between yellow clown goby, and sailfin blenny, the sailfin would be my choice.
that was my first ever saltwater fish and i loved that little gal. she jumped out one night unfortunately. :(

Blennies! Because not only can they be hardworkers but they can also be sassy - and venomous, like my gorgeous girl Convict who lives in a big seashell right up against the front glass of my tank where I get to watch her poke her cute little head out of her shell house.❤️

I do have more experience with gobies though and while my citron clown goby Skittle is an excellent reef citizen who endears me thoroughly whenever he perches on my hammer coral my yellow watchman goby Clyde killed the royal gramma and the molly miller blenny who I tried to introduce... so I'm never adopting a watchman goby again. (Not unless I find myself with a significantly larger tank, anyway.)

I definitely plan on adding a green clown goby at some point once I can upgrade my tank to a larger size but I wish that when I had started my tank I had adopted a bicolour blenny rather than Clyde the kraken goby. Clyde was one of my first fish and I guess I was enchanted by her glowing jewel-like blue spots and silvery gold body. She is very charming though, and I do love her despite mistrusting her!

I like them both but it has to be gobies cos we’re I live there are millions of them and when I was little I used to catch them and keep trying to catch more every time I went and I set up a tank for them were I collected everything from the beach and I kept them for about a month but couldn’t keep up with there diet so released them
