Hanging lights and will do either a column wrap or PVC to hide wires and hanging kit:

Following. I love the IM tanks.
Thank you! I would have had the tank a few weeks ago but had to pass on the delivery to the next person :( Second kid was born and I don't think anyone would appreciate me waiting on that delivery instead!

Hoping to have it in the next 4-6 weeks.

yeah, priorities. Someone will get mad if you are doing water changes vs swaddling. ;)

Decided to plumb the UV from the wall behind the tank. Didn’t realize how much stand space it would take up.

Waiting to set up the tank and sump before drilling holes.

Yeah that's just a 4x4 piece of plywood against my unfinished side of my basement. Tank will be right behind it so I plan on using that plywood as a "control" board for the UV/ATO/Dosing pumps instead of cramping it in the stand. All my liquid reservoirs will be on this side too.

That way I can just pull up a chair and do any maintenance that's needed

cudos. placing the controllers on that side won't light up the room during lights out. I have only a hygger wave maker on one tank at lights out and waaaay too much light at night. wish they had a dimmer on it. makes me remember baby raising days where I placed so many black pieces of electrical tape over all the "on" indicator lights for sound machines etc...

haha yep in that process now with a 5 week old. I'm considering putting all the pump controllers there too and running the wires through a conduit to make it look neat.

That way no light leaking and no salt/water can get to the controls.

Trying to learn from my past mistakes and making this tank as easy as possible to service

How’s the baby doing?
Baby's good, not a great helper but sleeping through the night now. Was able to get the stand built, floor cut so it sits on the slab, and sump in. Going to start doing some plumbing and wiring over the weekend. Movers coming on Thursday to bring the tank downstairs and set it on the stand.

Congrats!
I got my 150 delivered on Thursday! I've got some buddies coming in the morning to help put the tank on the stand then I'll also be doing plumbing this weekend! I'm definitely following your build!
Congrats to you as well! Not sure how much I can get done without the tank in place but we’ll see. I gotta modify some of the plumbing to plumb in my UV so I might start with that
