Thank you,I appreciate your willingness to help in the time the moderators had approved my board message the amazing team at Kessil hooked me up with a file that jumped me from version 1.0 to 3.4 and then I could update the light firmware through the website to version 4.2!

I'm now 100% up and running through the app!

Kessil's customer service team are phenomenal even from different time zones they are just so helpful and know their product.

Hey Doostur,
I'm looking to upgrade my ap700 as well. Couldn't PM you....but did take a look at your water box tank journal...that is a great tank.
I'd prefer not to post my email to public if possible.

Thank you for reaching out to us. Looks like you have an older unit with old firmware v2.1 that won't allow you to update to the latest firmware v4.2. Please note that this new update will clear all connection history and programs, you can backup your programs to the cloud first (App menu --> Login to social media --> Settings --> Backup to Cloud --> "Programs Only")

Please update your AP700 to the firmware v3.4 first, and then update to the latest. Please follow below instructions

- Please download the attached firmware file to your computer and follow the below instructions to update the AP700.

- Download the Firmware Update Tool on http://www.kessil.com/support/downloads.php under "AP700" --> "Firmware for Windows".

- Open the Firmware Update Tool on your computer.

- Plug in the USB cable to the computer and to the AP700. Make sure the AP700 is with power. You should see the Kessil SSID and the firmware version of your AP700 on the Firmware Update Tool.

- Click Off-Line Update and choose the .hex file you downloaded.

- Complete the firmware update process and then you will see Firmware Version as v3.4

- Make sure the light is functional. If so, please check the Firmware Update Tool again, it should show "Highly Recommended" and allows you to update to v4.2 *** Please note that this update will clear all connection history and programs ***

Does anyone know where I can download the latest actual firmware file update so that I can manually update?

The online update through the Firmware for Windows EXE program I downloaded from the Kessil website is not working.
