Having kept rather large fish in small tanks, in the past. I grew them out to sell later. It's how I stayed in the hobby. People paid a lot for grown fish to put into displays. Now its a lot different.

Clown tang was just to enjoy. But, she did have a backup home.

It's being able to understand if the fish is comfortable, or not. Some wild caught fish will never be happy. Just like wild caught birds.

Always have a backup plan if any fish becomes unhappy.
Lots of locals I've met who can help rehome. I'll give a fish away before I keep an unhappy one!

Frank, you're a saint for taking all of those coral munchers and fin nippers, and the fish with the zoomies!
She was a rock sniper! Super deadly. Not joking. Chrysus is almost healed from the attack. I've been watching for infection. We're good.

Also thinking twistii, as the negrosensis or meleagrides covers my "dusky" colors! Attenuatis is an interesting wildcard. Will have to be on the lookout for a deal! Lapillus I've never seen available but I'd sell a kidney immediately -- apologies for the kidney deficient among us, just a saying!

Only doubts about the laboutei is if it will play nice as it ages, especially with Mr. And Mrs. Pink Streak.
Laboutei if added last will likely play just fine. But they can also be delicate.

I mean, mine was shredded by a cleaner wrasse! I couldn’t believe it when I realised he was the reason that I lost that Laboutei.

Make sure he has plenty of big bodied fish, I don’t know why but I think mine was annoyed when I removed the jade as he has been lacking in large bodied species.

Also have to say, a DT would be a great addition as they aren’t a delicate species and definitely hold up to themselves. I mean this guy has almost tripled in size since I got him!

Well folks, looks like I'm moving forward with an upgrade!
Get Hyped Lets Go GIF by ALL ELITE WRESTLING

Scheduled to pick up a new 48"x20"x20" 83 gal system with 26gal sump, stand, plumbing and gravity ATO, referral courtesy of our new Excellency @VintageReefer !

Not the dream tank. That's still to come one day and it'll be B-I-G and Notorious! But this is going to get me there in the meantime and hopefully let me break up these overcrowded corals and let them grow into the full colonies they deserve to be.

He’s an adorable baby zoanthid, well he wants you to think that.

Can’t wait to see the colours - do they gain more as they grow?

Great question. That's a good one for @Ron Reefman who's had many baby RFAs and also probably @jkcoral .

I also have two of the babies on my Gyre and one has been moving around the rock in the back of the tank near the branching GSP jungle.

* Note: I have not cleaned all that bubble algae horror off of the gyre, specifically because the babies call it home.

Now let's play, "Who Is The Father!?"
