So now deciding whether or not to also ask for hinged doors for feeding/maintenance.

Basic design:

Door design:

Briefly thought about holes for a feeding cup or two, but I generally don't use frozen, and even when I do I usually thaw it in a tube, remove the soupy water, and resuspend it in fresh tank water to feed. So probably not dropping whole frozen cubes in anyway.

You should do the Hinged Feeding/Maintenance Doors. It's a real bummer to not be able to get into the tank for something simple without removing a whole lid or lid section. You'll regret it later if you don't add them now.

Sadly, I think the tailspot blenny is no more. I came in last night to add corals and he wasn't anywhere to be found, and he's usually in his barnacle at lights out.

Raising a skimmer cup to you, you old kook!

DEFINITELY do feeding/maintenance doors! I got a large access opening in the front/center of mine and I don't know what I would do without it. I'm using it all the time with my grabbers and scraper to flip snails or corals over that got overturned or something.

Is polycarbonate UV safe? Will it warp over time?

That's what I'm doing. Was debating a hole for a feeder cup, but ultimately thought that wasn't necessary with the Plank and the maintenance doors.

If they grow well, I'll send you some. I'm going to field test this Reef Outfit frag container for mail delivery in the hopefully not too distant future. Plan with the transfer is to first go through and frag a bunch of stuff to make space. Then will try sending some stuff around!

Btw, my Aip annihilation expedition last night was a great success. Fewer visible Philips in the front today. However, the horror of last night came from reaching into the back of the tank to nuke some Aips behind the rocks. I may have screamed. I don't usually inspect back there because that's the fishes' safe space, and it's usually full of branching GSP. But last night with all the polyps closed up and the fish asleep, I could see many, many Aips happily hanging out together and covering up the back of the rocks.. might have to make a few nights of it to exterminate them!

That's what I'm thinking! But... I was also planning a team of peppermints in the sump for Aip control...
I added 4 peppermints and a cleaner to the sump and no issues with the clam. I have a ton of aips in the DT and will have to add a bunch of peppermints and nudibranchs. May even try vinegar injection too.
