PRO CORAL RAINBOW ACRO
Sale $39

Also a staple in any sps tank. The PC Rainbow is the best canary in the coal mine you'll find. It is very hardy and can roll with the punches, but is the first thing in my tank that shows distress when parameters get out of line. If this one changes colors then you check to see what's wrong.

yep i had issues of phosphates bottoming out constantly and i dropped two mother colonys of candycanes with about 200 heads, kept sucking out alk faster than i expected. trident is allowing me to stay on top of that now
Yeah I've experienced that before. Moving colonies to systems without knowing how it's going to affect nutrient and alk consumption. You almost need to monitor those parameters once or twice a day to react with dosing solution. Always test those about 50% of the lights on time past when they turn off. Nutrient and alk consumption continues to ramp up long after the lights are off, so you want to see where it's bottoming out at.
