So i am looking in my tank, trying to figure out where these darn microbubbles are coming from....

Turns out i wasnt looking close enough! I cannot believe my eye!

The tank is swarming with pods! Big ones little ones, all types.

This has made me decide to sell my turkey fish and get some high maintenance pod eating fish..well one or two.

I dont use any mech filtration what soever, that must have been the trick, i even have brine shrimp swimming and growing huge.

Sadly, huge is not huge enough for a pic...my corals are going nuts from the pod poputlation though, they are eating 100 percent of the day!

I also had this happen. Then the tank got a severe cyano outbreak and had to treat the tank after a long fight .... sadly many didn't make it. But it was sooo cool to sea ;-)

I dont know yet? I plan on selling my lion first so i have time to think.

I feel confident that i can have any pod eating creature without supplements. I had mandarins for a long time and got very good at keeping track of health and what not, so i will know if and when they do need additional food.

I mean its seriously insane, the tank looks like a powerhead blowing sand around.

I do have moonlights, i actually used one of those marineland leds for freshwater and only use the 3 blues on the very far side of the tank.

I wonder how many dragonets i can fit in a 150 without cramping them, in that case i would feed them as well as let them hunt.

I have had multiple females before, of the scooter dragonets..
They chased eachother like birds and flared for about 3 days, then became pals.

Do you have shrimp in the tank? Sounds like they might have had babies!

Not a one! the lionfish has kept me from trying them on this build. I goot really close and there are at least 7 different types of pods just flying and all over the glass. I wiped it this morning and the scraper looked like a flea infested cat, pretty cool!!!

I do feed fresh baby brine, so they are in the mix twitching through the water.
