Bio security seems like a tough nut to Crack. Not sure you have many choices to save the coral. Lotions and potions seem to have failed to some extent in your case. Just wish you the best in your battle.

Love the response (lotions and potions) In this case I think my eyes hath deceived me. The only thing I can think of is that i missed some hidden eggs on something after doing a dip and inspection. Dips as we all know are not effective in controlling the egg stages of many pests we have in our reefs. Thank you for the well wishes, the battle rages on!Bio security seems like a tough nut to Crack. Not sure you have many choices to save the coral. I think this is the right path to take. Going forward maybe a coral quarantine tank will be necessary. Yet another tank to maintain Good luck!#Cronies and anyone else who wants to chime in.
Considering something drastic.
With the recent discovery of the AEFW in my reef I am considering tearing it apart.
I have been trying to slowly eliminate some different corals that I no longer desire like plating and encrusting montis, zoas, and palys.
I am thinking about removing all of my acros to be able to better inspect them and treat them if needed.
Then going through and removing any coral that i wish to keep and putting all of them in a separate tank or holding bin while I remove everything I don't want in the reef. Unless they are already where I want them in which case I will leave them.
This also allows me to remove the food source of the AEFW from my reef to break the life cycle which I understand to be about 28 days. Hopefully ensuring that my tank is rid of them before placing my coral back in.
Thoughts on this idea, is it time for a reset (not fire storm) in Fishy's Fraggy Wonderland? I have some time off of work coming up that would allow me to work on it for a couple of days straight, so about a week or 2 to really think about this idea.

LOLOLOL NO RIPCLEAN!hashtag ripclean?
any more than that, I am likely not the voice you want to listen to for advice, but the nuclear option is an option because it works. Gonna regularly dip the coral too?
Phew. Was worried for a minute.LOLOLOL NO RIPCLEAN!
Just a coral reboot.
Oooohhhhhhjj Braaaaa… oh nmWhew! I was getting ready to summon the master. He would have asked for before and after pictures to use you as a testimonial.
Thinning things out might help any wrasses you might have. As for the montis…… send’em my wayyyyyy I hope things get better soon. I’m hoping you won’t need to use the nuclear option. That’s the ultimate HaShTaG RiPcLeAn after all.#Cronies and anyone else who wants to chime in.

Don't exactly have the resources but it was an option I was considering prior to the AEFWs. Still also not sure what I want the tank to look like. But I know that several things in there need more room.If you have the time and resources then yes. Pull and reset. You have a better idea now of what you want in the tank and a better vision of what you truly want this tank to be. Not that you didn't before but its better now. You know what has worked and what isn't and this is a good reason to make it what you really really want. Plus you can get rid of all the heebie jeebies.
Cue the spice girls

There probably is but it would also probably kill everything in the tank too.I've long wondered if there is a growth regulator that could be used. Example I use growth regulators to break the breeding cycle of roaches. It makes the adults sterile and the babies from being able to become adults. It's extremely effective
Maybe. But if you could but thr across in a hospital tank it would helpThere probably is but it would also probably kill everything in the tank too.
