Was going to buy but now thinking of building a sump.

I was going to buy a Geo sump or a Bash Sea sump but they are to much $$$ so i think im going to try and build one. I built my 10G ATO and its acrylic. It wouldn't be my first time welding acrylic. Which naturally leads me to a few questions. I attached a picture of what id like the front view of my setup to look like and the sump acrylic parts im probably going to buy. First question of many If you had three filter socks what all would you put in them? (gfo, carbon and Bio balls?) The media reactor should it flow into he return pump or should the placement be different? Or should the flow be different? I want the drain to be on the left and flow to the right.

Price wise the acrylic will be pricey to build the sump body

With those dimensions, consider buying a stock aquarium like a 40g breeder from Petsmart/Petco, and then silicone in baffles.

I did this ~8 years ago for my first sump and it generally did pretty well until I wanted to size up.

I’m building from acrylic. It’s about $400 total for the acrylic doesn’t include and custom cuts I’d have to do. So not to bad?

I do have a 30 gallon sump now I just wanted an upgrade cause the one I have is to small but is all that would fit under my stand. I have a waterbox 110.4
