Little late on the fish discussion. Definitely consider a White Cheek tang. Had one in my last tank and it was just an awesome fish.

And as far as gem tangs go; I was like you and wasn't overly impressed by them looks wise, but had one given to me by a buddy that was tearing his tank down. They are a lot cooler in person than what they are in pictures you see on the net. Don't discount them too fast.

I have nothing to add on the triggers since I have never kept one, and you keep fleshy LPS and zoas so the angels I like are out of the question.

Tank is coming along very well. Has to feel good to see some life in it.
My 17 yr old loves the gems. Would be the only reason I get one. Angels and butterfly fish are so beautiful but unfortunately not in a reef.

Sadly, the next best thing to a regal angelfish is the demonic clown tang. I have not figured out another with the reflective colors as thise two. I've been looking up and down the allyway for a better looking fish.

I might get some bar gobies.... They're perfect eel sized snack though... and theyre stupid...

This is what I'm greated with every morning. So far the real drama is between all the clowns.

I'll watch her attitude as she ages. If shes still chill when its time to go to flora, I'll let you know. But, the choice is yours. So far all she does is retaliate. Likes to be left alone

My little flame hasn't made the move to destruction yet. Though you know he stays thickkkk like the clownfish.
