It definitely gave me several laughs. "if you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball." I am pretty sure he threw them into traffic too. I only seen it once.its a silly movie but its a good one.
I think they are still on the lost list. Not so sure though. I haven't tried shrimp sense I have wrasse who will rip them apart. I might because my eel could use a nice dentist.I think I have decided that triggers are more on the reef safe with lots of caution list at this point. they like to jump and they like to eat other fish except the head. They carry that around in their mouth like a trophy. Just to rub it in. They also eat my cleaner shrimp when they can. I will not be purchasing any more for my reef, and trying to decide what to do with my beautiful male blue throat.
uh oh!!!! What is sliding?don't look now but things are starting to slide.

I don't ball that hard $$If i had the tank. . Id get em for me!!
That would be pretty cool. And if you get lucky, more than a few and cash in!I don't ball that hard $$
They can sometimes be caught off the San Diego coast. I may just have to wait until an El nino year (maybe this year) and go try to collect a few small ones.
Because it’s easier being a female.I use to have a bonded pair of watanabei but lost the female, replace her with a smaller one and then the male lost his black stripes and looked female again. Both remain in female colors. Don’t know why; it was weird.
Yeah but can you tune a fish?I can dodge a wrench...
I'd learn to use a 10' cast netI don't ball that hard $$

Funny the distinctions we make.I think I have decided that triggers are more on the reef safe with lots of caution list at this point. they like to jump and they like to eat other fish except the head. I'd boogie & surfboard off the South fork of Long Island when I was a kid and I remember one year seeing Portuguese man o'war jellyfish and clownfish out in the surf.I don't ball that hard $$

Using a cast net for a gamefish (only quantity taken limit on them, no size limit), you better learn to do more than throw a cast net, as they will bury you under the jail for breaking fishing regulations lol.I'd learn to use a 10' cast net
lol... what?! they don't enforce any environmental laws in CA... hahaUsing a cast net for a gamefish (only quantity taken limit on them, no size limit), you better learn to do more than throw a cast net, as they will bury you under the jail for breaking fishing regulations lol.
Some of the only few they prosecute to the fullest extent of the law lol.lol... what?! they don't enforce any environmental laws in CA... haha
im thinking ultra light gear, small hooks, and fresh baitUsing a cast net for a gamefish (only quantity taken limit on them, no size limit), you better learn to do more than throw a cast net, as they will bury you under the jail for breaking fishing regulations lol.
We catch triggers in Fl with #2 crappie hooks, shrimp or another bait, and mono leader. The crappie hooks work great, as they are a little longer and keep the trigger from biting the line. They are also legal for most SW fish, as they bend easily (not an issue with a trigger) and rust quickly if left in the fish.im thinking ultra light gear, small hooks, and fresh bait
@Lost in the Sauce how far out would we have to go to catch them? we talking to the islands again? We catch triggers in Fl with #2 crappie hooks, shrimp or another bait, and mono leader. In addition, if going for smaller ones, the long cricket hooks are even better. Those are what I use to catch smaller wrasse and tangs lol.
