So I e had this royal gramma for less than a week in my tank, he started out fine but now he looks to have some mucous all over him. At first I thought it may be a response due to him always hanging out in the torch coral but now he just lays on the opposite side of the tank, breathing fast, covered in mucous. I have 2 clowns that dont look to be affected at all.

It does sorta look like brook, but an infection is also possible from getting stung by the torch.

What I would do in this situation: Adminster an acriflavine bath (ex. Ruby Reef Rally) and then treat in a QT with this trio of medications: Kanaplex, Furan-2, Metroplex.

Metro treats brook, while Kanaplex + Furan-2 will addesss the possibility of a bacterial infection. So, you'd be covered both ways. Acriflavine also treats brook and provides "first aid" for infections because it is an antiseptic.

Hmm definitely seems like it could be a couple different things, bad day for all of this to be happening since I have to move today. Hopefully this guy can survive the trip that way i can get him into a nice big QT tank for treatment. For now I guess a freshwater bath will have to do to help out with some of the mucous.

I would go this route first. You should see improvement within a few days of treatment... if no improvement happens, then add the copper to the mix.

Looks to be bacterial as they rarely get brook. Yu can safely treat with Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby which takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work but is coral and tank safe. More effective in separate tank is Seachem neoplex.
