My tank is 30x12x12. Light will be directly above the tank so 12.5 inches on top. The substrate is 1 inch deep. Thanks!

Dont see any pics but they do well in most lighting

Hey,
I posted an amazon link. Its a Nicrew ClassicLed plus 21 watts light thats made for freshwater that's why I was asking. Thanks
The wattage is very low and may work though for this nem. Try to acquire 65- 90 watts especially if planning to add some hardy coral such as mushroom, trumpet, zoa and leathers

What you end up getting, in large part, has to do with your goals for the tank. You don't have to spend your whole paycheck on lighting, but the power and spectrum of a fixture needs to be taken into consideration and matched to what you ultimately want to include. Take some time to look at different fixtures and read up on the myriad of threads on the subject here. Trust me, there are plenty!
