I posted a similar thread in the softies forum but I know this one gets a bit more attention - hope the cross post isn't too spammy.


I'm relatively new to leathers but have had them before and never saw this so I assume it is a pest, but it looks like it's coming from the leather to the rock and not the other way around. There is no visible "source" from the rock, but I also know enough to know there is a lot we often can't see.

I could try to remove it but in the rare chance it's not a pest and the leather establishing itself as a happy occupant I wanted to see what this group thought first.
