I bought a "Toadstool Leather (lobophytum sp)" (copy & paste) from online LFS. I have read that "Toadstool" could mean Sarcophyton, Lobophytum, Sinularia, Capnella, or whatever else.

I am confused after reading the ReefBuilder leather coral article and looking at what I got. Here are the pictures:

1. From the online LFS:

Thanks!

The LFS tells me we can’t get “weeping willows” in Australia as these are a super long tentacled form of Toadstool. The LFS was invoiced for Lobophytum but acknowledged that it could be a Sarcophyton. However, they only have green and yellow-skinned Sarcos available here.

i cant think

Finding true Weeping Willows is difficult as I believe only 3 are actually in the hobby.

Although I doubt people can’t get them from the wild - no way was there only ever one true weeping willow in the world.
