Is this a good stand design for a 180 gallon reef?

Hi, I was wondering if this stand design would be sufficient for a 200x100x35cm or 79x39x14" tank. It will be skinned with plywood and have front opening doors, also will install a liner in the bottom to help with any water damage. The corner posts are 10x10mm and everything else is 5x10mm planks. Top and bottom will have 12mm Marine plywood and the sides, back and doors will be 8mm plywood.

looks like a solid design!
Do you think the front side would be fine? It is only supported by the 2 diagonal 5x10mm planks. Im just trying to avoid adding a center brace to make working on the sump much easier.

Do a search on Rocket Engineers for an idea. Design goes back to the RC days with a lot of large builds using it. I can't speak for a 180 as my 210 is using steel but my 40 breeder is using it. Works well.

if anything you can increase the size of your front plank to something a little bigger to avoid using a center support

Am I doing the math wrong here? The supposed building materials are less than 1/2"? 10mm is .4". That in no way hold that much weight.
I have 2 stacked 125g the horizontals are 2x6" and the verticals are 2x4". I have no center brace thats why I went with 2x6 for the horizontals.
My 180g is on a custom plywood stand made by a professional cabinet and stand designer that is 3/4" plywood. I would not trust myself to build that but it is very sturdy.

Sorry, i meant 50x100mm lol. I will end up adding a centre brace as I think I will have the sump offset so that i can work on the sump from top down instead of front on with only 35cm clearance. The 180 im planning is also very shallow so that helps (35cm or 14")

No, the only verticals properly transferring the load are the centered 2x4s. The 4x4's in the corners are only using screws to transfer the load from the top frame. ALL of the vertical beams should be between the top and bottom frames, and 2x4's are plenty strong.

So what do you suggest I change?

That looks correct. Just make sure you have a plan to get the sump in, if it's going under the tank.
decided to go for aluminium t slot and a larger tank, will get a engineering company to design the stand for that tank
