Is it okay to use unopened supplies bought back in 2021?

Hi. I am in the process getting ready to set up my new tank. I had bought supplies back in 2021 when I was going to convert my existing tank to salt but the project went on hold. I am finally getting the motivation to start it up again.

I was wondering if there would be any issues using these:
Unopened Live sand (don't think this is live sand anymore lol)
Start up Bacteria ( I'm positive this is useless now lol)

Sand will be ok, bacteria just pitch. Buy dr. tim’s fishless cycling kit with one and only and ammonia.
