Hi guys,

I just want to know if this is ich or velvet or any other disease on my tang?

I just lost an anthias with rooted fin and popped eyes recently.

These are mucus comes likely from skin issue and likely mixed in with ich which this fish is susceptible to. You will notice others do not show signs but keep an eye on them. Place this fish in quarantine and treat with coppersafe or Copper Power at therapeutic level 2.25-2.5 For a FULL 30 days (do not interrupt this 30 day period) monitored by a reliable Copper Test kit such as Hanna Brand- No API brand. Also monitor Ammonia levels while in quarantine with a reliable test kit and add aeration during treatment using an air stone.

That does look like a moderate case of ich. The fish seems pretty thin as well. More history would be helpful though:
