I been bubbling for a while now and have notice Increased growth daily. The second week After I started my alk went from 7.2 to 6.2. Talk seems healthier also.
In my relative ignorance, is this just the result of increased consumption by corals?

I've not noticed any negative impact on sponges...I think it has to do with the size of the bubbles

Next time, how about a link straight to the article rather than facebook? That doesn't make any sense to me...

The only way I have achieved the proper bubbles is with an air driven powerhead between sump baffles

There are a few threads here on R2R that I followed for a while and ended up unfollowing due to the troll skepticism. If you can weed through all the bickering there is great info posted. I don't have the links handy, but micro-bubble search should bring it up. @Squamosa has had very good results and has a private facebook group showing his results. I prefer to watch his progress there, without the trolling. Cruz is also very active in the group.

It works. Still uncertain "how", but it works. You will need to feed in outside air to stabilize your PH, as mentioned before.

Going to keep experimenting myself. [emoji39]

How are things going.
I have not got the limewood airstone yet or run line outside but it is certainly amazing the amount of sloughing off the SPS and some lps are doing.
1 hour interval couple times a day.
Increased polyp extension within days of starting testing.
So far no issues.

How's your pH holding up? The reason outside (fresh) air needs to be used is to prevent pH from dropping.

No issues at all with it dropping. However this is really my main purpose I wanted to try it. Just have not found the limewood stone local and have not added line outside.
I do have chronic low PH issues so have a brs co2(pellets) scrubber attacked to my protein skimmer intake which also runs outside.
I also utilize kalk.

PH has been 1 of my biggest issues.
