Have any pics you can post?Version #1 gets my vote, as that is similar to how I have my 93g cube.
What type of corals are you going to be interested in? I have a mixed reef and think I went too much rockwork for the SPS I would like to keep. Here's how I did mine:
I used water weld and a ton of it. I found that using acrylic rod and anything else didn't work near as well as water weld. I love that stuff. A tip I figured out was when you use water weld, use a generous amount. But cover it up by smashing some spare rocks into gravel/small chunks and cover up the water weld to make it look like one rock and very natural. Of course I didn't figure this out until I was half way done. That being said after a year you can't see the water weld anyway. Also I use SB Reef lights. Hot Rod black boxes with the right spectrums for coral. I don't have radion money. So these have worked very well! What did you stick the rocks together with? What lighting are you using?
No problem, let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.I hear you about the amount of money. I was just about to post a new thread questioning the cost of things but thought I better shut up or get banned. LOL.
I appreciate your input.
