Did nitrate and phosphate tests this morning, I really hate color comparison tests… nitrate looked somewhere between 5-12 ppm, closer to 5. Phosphate looked closest to .1 maybe but kinda a different shade so idk. Using Nyos tests

Have someone offering me an anemone for cheap, that I could pick up tomorrow but not sure about if it’s been long enough to put it in yet.

Turned on the lights yesterday, been about a month and a half since I put water in the tank. Using the BRS recommended settings from their video at 25%, 12 hours total with 1 hr ramp on each end.

I haven’t water changed in 3 weeks because I was out of the country, will water change tomorrow morning. Just tested nitrates and phosphates and I’m sitting at 12 and .13 respectively. Could bring them both down a tad but not bad.

Thoughts?

I added a Tunze nano ATO since I determined my osmolator is too big. I also added a grommet plug to the front of the control panel in the stand for plugging in the pump I use for water changes. Still haven’t added a heater but it’s warm enough here for now.
