Haha. Fair enough. Then my current wish would be a safe and effective method for eradicating GHA permanently. That’s my current issue.
Oh, no... you're good now. The OP modified his original scope and you can wish away!

The cure for dinos, the real reason dinos start, and the reason for Brown Jelly Disease, and a surefire way to cure it, with out it returning shortly thereafter.

I would like to know about differing needs of different types of corals. Is it reasonable to think that we could keep all different types of LPS, SPS and soft corals in the same tank?

A properly installed UV Sterilizer.
My tank and fish are a living example of complete ich eradication, it 100% works and is not anecdotal.
How is your example not an anecdote?

Because even a simple search on this forum would lead you to many other situations like mine where it resolved their ich issues. I bought and installed mine based off other experiences. Its also scientifically backed. Theres a reason UV sterilization is required and being used across the globe in water treatment.

Where most hobbyists get it wrong though is buying the wrong size and poor installation.

So a single counter example would seem to not fit with your assertion that it will always work?

i cant think

There are many things we don’t have the answer to in the reefing hobby. We need more studies for answers, which can be limited in time, money, and even knowledge.

However, if I could grant you one wish: you could have the definitive answer to any mystery pertaining to the hobby, but the condition is that you can only solve ONE mystery...

What would you solve?
One thing I’d love solving is;
Are the two Cirrhilabrus lubbocki variants two related subspecies or not?
They have the same main features like the mouth and overall body shape with different colourings

Why the Redfield ratio is ever brought up or touted as a “cure” in this hobby. Just stop. It has zero relevance to an aquarium

Real reef safe super effective ez-to-use meds for fish disease but you do actually need to be a genie to grant that.
