I agree is not readyWhat AOS are you running?
I agree is not ready
Mine did.Just got home form vacation and ran the update. First scheduled test is tomorrow afternoon. Decimal got moved over from .04 to now .42. Did everyone's correct itself after the next test?
Just to confirm I’m not missing something, what is the “factory update”? I updated the software and while closer to the Hanna, it’s still about .10 off…. I was planning on doing the factory reset when it it’s time to change reagents and see what happens. After the software update, factory update and reset, mine is now working fine again. Super odd how that happened after working great for 2 months but now back in action!
Same story here. I’m a week or so (post update) with NP .1 low from Hanna on po4. NP barely registers a spike with .01 uptickThis machine doesn’t work, if phosphate passes the 0.09 mark - for example your hanna reads a phosphate of 0.17 the Neptune will read like a 0.07
I been observing this for months and half now
If you hanna reads po4 0.07 then the neptune will read po4 inclusive exact like 0.06 for example
But if you have a spike of po4 under hanna reading, example po4 0.19, neptune will read po4 of 0.07
It happens all the time
Is this the same result after repeated tests? Many here are seeing that after the first test which is speculated to incorrectly place the decimal, it has been accurate thereafter.WARNING: This is NOT READY for prime time!
I am glad to hear others have had success. I have yet to achieve the same. I have mine connected to A2 Apex and have updated both Apex and Trident NP software. I then re-primed all lines, reset all options, performed calibration, enabled factory defaults, and restarted the Trident, but I still have issues with PO4. Nitrate readings seem reasonably accurate.
You would quickly come up against the cost of a Trident NP if you were to use ICP testing to track nitrates and phosphates….I haven’t looked into the costs of running and maintaining one of these. It sounds like the accuracy isn’t great. It might be easier and even cost effective to send ICP testing periodically if you want to track these parameters?
Did you also do a factory reset? I performed the apex and NP updates and mine is still testing around .09-.1 off from my Hanna. After updating my Apex to the latest firmware/software version, my numbers are finally inline with my Hannah tests. Hopefully the numbers settle for those seeing sudden spikes…
If you have for some reason a spike in Po4 like .14 for example, the neptune will not register itAfter updating my Apex to the latest firmware/software version, my numbers are finally inline with my Hannah tests. Hopefully the numbers settle for those seeing sudden spikes…
