I can believe that mushroom hasnt split yet.
I love your anemones! What kind are they? I have 40g that I’d like to convert into an anemone tank.
Regular old Bubble Tip Anemones. They are essentially green with pink tips, although they often look more blue under my LEDs. A couple of people have commented they have seen them sold as Jolly Rancher BTAs. If either split again I may have to unload ASAP, LOL!I love your anemones! What kind are they? It still blows my mind how the split has grown so much bigger than the original. It certainly found its ideal spot in the tank to thrive! Reefing a game of such minute changes that can produce such different results. A little higher in water column so little more light and a bit of different flow and bingo it’s a teenager on a growth spurt. The clone might just consume the tank at this point. I feel like he grew a couple inches more since August started.
Right! Having clones side by side was the perfect, unintended experiment. It still blows my mind how the split has grown so much bigger than the original. Now my mind wonders why did original stick in its current Spot? The spot works for it so does a nem have a min requirement that once met says forgetaboutit I ain’t moving no more or just something different between the two that wasn’t quite identical. Fascinating creatures to be certain now to wait for the 2nd to split and see what becomes of a third nem! Your going to need a bigger tank!Right!
