I see Faraday cages and wonder if thats actually a design feature for security...I walk by this Chase in Manhattan almost every night. Am I the only one who thinks these folks’ cubicles look like powerheads?

I think you should spread newspaper on the floor of the cubicles and add some absorbing materials like a bird cage! Maybe hang a couple of bird swings for good measure.

You did. In fact, this past weekend was the six week mark since you made your prediction and it seems clear it is not dead. To think I considered tossing it. I usually do not pull skeletons as they just become part of what we call rock. This one was loose on the bare bottom and just looked ugly. Glad I listened, smart Lady.
Here is the updated progression

After the crash, the skeleton looked bare and then, the recovery began with signs of skin
Still some ways to go, but currently, the trend is our friend.
Life always has a way of surprising us with its resilience. Sometimes it's not what we want (like hitchhikers), and sometimes it's good (such as corals that pop back from [almost] nothing)! Glad to hear this survived!

I have not talked much about the new Montipora and frankly, they are not looking great. The Spongodes is fine, the rest are struggling. They are adapting to my tank and lighting still perhaps, so I am not giving up. If they do not make it I may just add a second BTA on the big rock and call it a day. Actually would not mind that. Black Widow, maybe? Anemones up top and the remaining LPS lining the bottom. I want to keep it very simple. My current anemone is recovered and thriving.

Under whites it is looking more orange which I really like. The deep orange with the purple mouths and yellow stripes is so yummy.

Looking good. It is in the back, deep in the flow, so hard to get a picture. If I can find the time this weekend I am going to add the second gyre and get a real maelstrom going in there.I'm sorry to hear the struggles with the monti's. Hang in there. Might be acclimating still.
