My dad went to the Cleveland Inst for Art and my mom minored in it at college. So I suppose you could say it runs in the family

The same day I got my acceptance letter to Philly U of Arts, my Dr called me and said, "you're pregnant"...
So I never went.
I was a Photography and Fine Arts major. I'll have to find my d portfolio.....

I’m sorry. I think you’d have made a great artist. But life does play little games with us. My mother had a bipolar break when I was 10. Things definitely changed.

Nice. Sad ending though. People need connections. That was drilled into me during the worst of Covid . I was stuck at home in April 2020 for six weeks, 3 of it alone while my wife battled it in the hospital for 3 weeks herself.. The first 4 weeks were ok. By the last 2 weeks I was getting a little stir crazy. Even myself , who was a bit of a lone wolf needed to be around people. Sorry if I’m going a little tangetial

Totally off tangent but your daughter is like a a younger version of you at least in the physical looks department. I couldn’t believe it when I found out you have a college age child.

I hear you. I was emersed in photography in high school and into my idea of college.
Life had other plans, and now I'm one of less than 3000 Certified Registered Nurses of Infusion in the entire world... *you'd never know by my paycheck*
