I have 4 SLW-20 wave makers in my 120, 2 on each side glass. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to setup so left side runs then right side, etc so I can get those nice flowing wave patterns? I'd like to do it w/o having to power off each side since I believe that will cause a failure sooner than if the controllers just stay powered on and do the pulsing.

Thanks,
-Chris

I don't think these pumps have a way to connect more than two units together (at least the instructions only show two units being connected). You may be able to set the pumps up in such a way with a master and slave unit on each side of the tank and attempt to dial in the master units so they are opposite each other. That said, unless perfectly dialed in waive timing would eventually get off rhythm.

. . . if that makes sense.

That said, I don't have this specific model of pump so hopefully others can chime in.

It seems that when you group 2 or more wavemakers the 'master / slave' function is gone....i would also like to know if there is a workaround for that so you could run 2 wavemakers on each backside of a peninsula at a lower speed in crossflow.

I run 4 of the Jebaos with 1 as a master, they do not alternate like you'd believe they would. My master is basically just a master on /off switch for all of them, it is handy for feeding time because I only have to push 1 button to shut them all own, but other than that they are synched. I use the sine mode on the slowest setting at about 50% pump speed. If I use constant speed they will make so much turbulence the fish wont even swim in front of them lol.
