I go to one LFS at least,once a week, gave up on the other one. I like to go in and look, they also have reptiles and fur babies. We don't have a lot of,choices around here. I buy my livestock online, but try to support the local guy too.

I'm very fortunate to have a quality LFS near by. I drop in 2 maybe 3 times a month. I buy salt supplements etc. Always have my eye open for that one good fish or coral. I could purchase stuff cheaper online or other places,but it's worth it to me to do what I can to keep this guy's doors open.

It's tough to stay away. I used to go once a week, but life is busy. So I pop in 2x a month a so. I've learned how to window shop, but I've applied it to anything I buy including this hobby. It has to be at a certain price point (corals at a bargain). You can find them if you're patient!

Mostly 5 gallons of ro/di, 5 gallons of RSCP and either a test refill or additive. On the occasion something live.
For me it was a couple times a month, but since we moved further from my work I don't have time to go home for lunch... Which means I have been to five different stores this week.. Got some snails, pods, dry goods.
Mostly just browsing, the new setup is only a month in and not ready for additions but will hopefully start quarantine on some livestock soon..
Lucky enough that the blue arrows are lfs (a few that are not solely aquarium stores), still working through visiting them all.. I'm working on the right side of the map during my lunches, lol

I go to my LFS every Saturday after Starbucks lol. I replenish what I need, look at the livestock, and plan. This Saturday, I'm planning on doing a day long road trip to find what other stores are here in ft Myers and surrounding areas...

Well I'm new to reading, and coming back into saltwater fish. It's been years. I think tomorrow I'm buying rock to work on my aquascape, and then I need to find a few fish. It's a planning trip lol.

We have 3 local places and 2 petcos. One LFS specializes in salt water & reefs only. They have the best selection in town but I feel like they're not the most friendly when I'm in there. The other two have both FW and SW and are pretty gross but the people there are much friendlier so I still try to give them business when I'm on their side of town. It's not like I've ever seen a dead fish when I stop by its more that they reallyyyyyyy need to keep up with their maintenance.
I go to petco the most (about once per week) because it's the easiest to get my wife to go with me to. She'll take the dog around to pick up treats and I'll dart to the back corner to take a peak at all of the fish quickly approaching their grave.
Ideally I would like to make time to stop by once per week. The issue with that is this isn't like past hobbies of comic books and trading cards. I don't have room in my tank to stop by every Friday and reward myself for a hard week of work. They're live animals and i have to be conscious of that so I really have to limit my LFS visits so I don't overstock my tank.
