yeah. Had a buddy of mine that hasn’t been over since I got the first. Came by the other day and his jaw dropped and he told me I have a problem lol. I get it from my dad he’s the same way, but with snakes.

So the trick to this hobby is to just use a credit card, its free money!

The buy in for my tank and hardware will be about 12K (See signature). I'm also considering an algae scrubber as well, which isn't in the Sig. Monthly, probably about $150 when it's up and running.
My Dad was the same way (as am I). He was a HS Biology teacher and had rats, boas, pirahanas, black widows, scorpions, tarantulas and a mess of other things. That was back in the day (65 to 95) when schools weren't concerned about little things like law suits from a black widow bite!

that’s cool! He used to be into saltwater back in the late 90s, got out of it but the more he sees my tanks grow the more of an itch he’s getting to get back into it. He just picked up and is getting into tarantulas a couple months ago!

Yeah, during one of his labs, he'd taken 20 baby black widows (REALLY small) out of the habitat and had the students look at them through a microscope. Not smart. Someone sneezed. .....And there they went. All over. Lucky he had counted them. ALL the students were looking for them. They came up with 20 and called it a day!

Yes, my daughter loves the end actually. Folds it in half for a half size sandwich and says it tastes better.
