Not sure what these zoas are, they look like eagle eyes but nicer.
Maybe @Legendary Corals could chime in to confirm ID’s
Very happy that I won the giveaway! I never win anything! It feels greatthank you Darwin and the dudes at Legendary Corals.
LOL, you have enough going on, stop coming up with new projects!Nope. I am so lazy and carefree it just doesn't make sense. LOL!
Do itttt! Lol. When you have time, haha.Ya know, Chris, this all makes me want to try this again on a coral only tank just to see.
Oh wow! Fascinating!High pH was my first thought. I tested it and it was about 8.25 on average so no.
I think it was osmosis making them uncomfortable.
Contrary to the phrase "Drinks like a fish" they don't. They move water in an out of their body through osmosis. This is entirely dependent on the salt in their body being able to balance with the water around them.
I think that was what caused the issue.
Well I mentioned it because 1.025 is kinda low. There's a reason that calibration fluids are set to 35ppm / 1.0265, this is I believe the world average. With some being lower, and some being drastically higher (like the red sea at 1.029+)
I need to do a rescape on the 90 badly. Rocks keep falling, last week my acan ate half my pc rainbow overnight. This morning I found another acan eating my fallen asd rainbow Mille. It’s really frustrating. I really am not good at scaping, I’m not sure what I’m going to do.
Lights will be on soon. Good idea. HahaStep 1 would be posting a current fts so we can all think about it!![]()

I’m not sure. Snails or my urchin must be making certain branches loose from the structure then at night things fall for some reason. I didn’t cement my rocks together they are just naturally stacked and now sealed with coralline. When I do the rescape I’ll use these cement stick things I got and haven’t used. This is just a much more daunting task with everything having coral on it and I’ll be on a time crunch to get it back in the tank. Tonga branches are particularly difficult to scape as well, but look so good if properly done.I think you need to feed your acans a little more if they are munching on SPS for snacksWhy does your scape keep falling down?
Any special type of black zip ties? Normal Home Depot ones are fine?Black zip ties are your friend. UV resistant and make a big difference in holding rockwork together. Especially tonga.
Also a masonry drill bit helps to put zip ties through rock
Yep. Any ones that are black are typically uv resistant.Any special type of black zip ties? Normal Home Depot ones are fine?
Awesome. Thanks for that. That will be helpful. I’m going to attempt to rescape tomorrow.Yep. Any ones that are black are typically uv resistant.
I used a bunch of zip ties and drilled holes, makes a big difference,a d coralline hides it quicklyAwesome. Thanks for that. That will be helpful. I’m going to attempt to rescape tomorrow.
