How long has the aquarium been established? 4 months since cycling

Have you lost any fish to this problem yet? recently lost my clowns and royal gramma. Thought it was breck, but formalin bath and copper QT maybe started too late and fish died within 24 hours of moving to QT. The following day my Tomini Tang was dead - It showed no signs of distress aside from the typical squabbling with the Gem Tang. 2-3 days later, the Gem is now itching against the sand and is showing hazy eyes with some visible spots. Also, skin is starting to look like there is a film over it.

Are any invertebrates affected? No

Respiration rate of affected fish (in gill beats per minutes, count for 15 seconds and multiply by 4)

Are the affected fish still feeding? Yes

What remedies have you tried so far? Turning on my UV with a low flow rate.

Hazy eyes combined with scratching is most often a sign of flukes.

Did the fish that died show spots or rapid breathing? If so, there may be something else going on.

You can treat display tanks with prazipro for flukes, typically three treatments, 8 days apart with good aeration.

Royal Gramma and clowns had spots that looked like Ich or velvet. Clowns had the same but also developed spots that looked like slime coat coming off.. this is why I was thinking Brek.

I don’t see brooklynella on the tang, you may have had two issues, tangs don’t usually get Brook, but they commonly get flukes.

I was fearful that I might have two issues popping up at once.

Would you recommend trying a freshwater dip with the Tang, or just go straight to the Prazi

For the tang, while you can, it can add additional stress as the fish is breathing heavy. Aerating the water may help. For the clowns, it will offer temporary relief from symptoms but an alternative and not a solution

FW dips are not without some risk. However, if you can catch the fish without hurting it, and the fish dies, it was likely too far gone. A FW dip can buy you some time.
