Hi all,
Long time reefer, just new here! I'm moving to a new apartment in 2 weeks and they just refinished the beautiful hardwood floors. This is our dream apartment and I wanna do right by this landlord to protect the floor from scratches.
I currently have a 40 gallon Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion with an APS stand. Anyone have any suggestions for what to put underneath? At first I was thinking of just doing a felt mat from a fabric store, but I saw a thread on here from years ago about doing felt sliders so the tank can be moved easily. Anyone have any experience between either option? I'm thinking the felt sliders might look a little nicer, but I've never liked the bottom of this stand (almost feels flimsy to me) so I'm worried putting it on just 4 points might cause too much stress.
