The pair of anampses neoguinaicus (China Wrasse) I had on order didn't make it through conditioning. The search continues.

Picked up another acantho for the beach, and replaced some of the blastos with red bowerbankii. I think that spot was too high par for the blastos. I've moved them back into the sand box and they seem to be doing better.

It's been way too long since my last post! My Achilles got itch, seemingly out of nowhere. I hadn't added any new fish, so it must have come in on a coral or it had been lurking for a while.

It started getting worse, poor fish was absolutely covered. Dozens of spots on each side. Surprisingly, the other fish didn't seem to be effected, except the fox face who got a couple spots as well.

I did some searching and almost all the forum posts were saying that it was doomed in my tank and I should pull it and re-home it, until I saw some protocols on humblefish about using H2O2 dosing, especially at night.

It's been a few weeks, and I haven't been as consistent as I could be, but as of today I don't see a single spot on him!

I figured that if I can keep this up consistently for a period of time equivalent to a fallow period, maybe it'll be eliminated in my tank.

To make sure I'm consistent, I decided to look on my local forums for a second DOS and what do you know, a good deal. :)

This one's set up to dose H2O2 3 times a day, and spreads out the daily Phosphat-E dose. Wanted to get that automated before the upcoming holiday travel.

Sorry to hear about the Ich but it looks like you figured out a good solution with the H2O2.

Monti island coming along. I really like these yellow lantana montipora, with their unique growth pattern and cornflower blue polyps. Very unique. The other two kinds are the original Leng Sy montipora and JF Red Roses.

Those yellow months look really cool. Never seen them before. Where did you get them?

I got them from AquaSD, but hesitate to recommend ordering from them anymore. Messed up too many of my orders in a row, and started acting like it was my fault.

Picked up a new addition yesterday. Straight into the tank after a short observation period. My standard approach to all sensitive species to get them grazing asap. He's already out and about, dodging drive-bys from the tangs. Little guy isn't shy at all.
