Nice, I love pairs and/or groups of fish. Hopefully they get more bold once thier settled in to your tank.Everyone's still being shy.
Pinky!!!!! Still a bad influence after all this time, lolIt happened again! Pinky's spirit lives on.
After enough observation for me to feel comfortable that all 6 Blackcaps were ready for the acclimation box, I started collecting them from the QT tank. Well that's weird I can only find 5 after removing the PVC pipes. I checked all around the tank thinking it went carpet surfing somehow through a crack in the lid, but no sign. Well through the process of elimination there was only one place left, the rear chambers. Took everything out and was able to spot it, way deep in the L shaped biggest chamber. No possible way to get it out without draining it (or printing another patented Pinky trap), luckily it was a 15 gallon QT tank this time and not a 50 gallon display.
All 6 are now in the acclimation box, recovering from the stress of relocation by hiding and puffing up at me when I check on them (basslets are so dramatic).
Too bad that doesn't slope the other way. You could have got some red/orange corals to be the fire coming out of the dragon's mouth.Thinking about filling these two areas with some new corals, I heard there's a battlecorals sale going on...

How about a red acropora mounted on the end of a clear acrylic rod coming right out of the mouth?Maybe something like this?
