Any idea what this is I have about four in the tank
, that have a fine ten tickle that comes out of the tube .
The 1 st one is under the rock and I know it's hard to see because its covered in sand is in the middle of the picture .'
Had 3 pieces of live rock in a bucket at room temp for a few weeks. Pulled them out and they were covered in vermetids. Put them in a 3 gal with a heater and now I have small mutant stars, pineapple sponges and a lot of these. Any idea? And what might the fibers that are growing out of the rock onto the tank be?
Can somebody please tell me what this is. There are a few on the glass that just appeared after 1 1/2 years of having the tank setup. It's got an orange dot
What is the best way to rid a vermited snail outbreak? I let them get too bad in my system and even removed some of my rock bc they are in too great of numbers. currently a tweezers seems best but am curious if anyone has any better ideas?
Some people fill their tubes with super glue. I don't want all the tubes left in the tank globbed with super glue. IMO breaking them off is the best way.
