Had 3 pieces of live rock in a bucket at room temp for a few weeks. Pulled them out and they were covered in vermetids. Put them in a 3 gal with a heater and now I have small mutant stars, pineapple sponges and a lot of these. Any idea? And what might the fibers that are growing out of the rock onto the tank be?

Thanks

Some kind of snail? <1mm at largest.

What is the best way to rid a vermited snail outbreak? I let them get too bad in my system and even removed some of my rock bc they are in too great of numbers. currently a tweezers seems best but am curious if anyone has any better ideas?

Some people fill their tubes with super glue. I don't want all the tubes left in the tank globbed with super glue. IMO breaking them off is the best way.
