I waited until today, Monday, June 24th, to write this review to give AquaSD a chance to reach out to me. However, despite sending them a few follow-up emails, it’s been 5 days and I have not received any response.
A little background: When I visited the AquaSD store about a month ago, their customer service was outstanding. However, their online and phone services could definitely use some improvement, as it seems to be nonexistent. During my in store visit a month ago, I came across a Wilsoni that I really liked, but the price was a bit steep for me, so I left it behind.
When AquaSD had their “After Party” sale about two weeks ago, I seized the opportunity and purchased the exact Wilsoni I saw and wanted! (Q14) However, the day before my scheduled shipping date, Wednesday, AquaSD called me to inform that the Wilsoni was not in the best condition and they did not want to ship it out due the health of the coral.
To much of my sadness, while on the phone with AquaSD, they offered me a replacement Wilsoni, and even sent me a link via email of the replacement Wilsoni’s photo (Q61). After seeing the photo, I agreed to the replacement Wilsoni, and reconfirm with the staff if this will be the Wilsoni I will be receiving, and they agreed.
Disappointingly on the shipping date, Thursday, June 20th, the Wilsoni I received was not the replacement that was promised. I got neither the Wilsoni I wanted, nor did I get the replacement promised, what I received was the Orange Wilsoni shown in the photo. As you can see the color and patterns do not match.
I promptly reached out to AquaSD via email and phone but to no avail. Their voicemail is not set up, so I could not leave them a message. I even followed up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday resulted in no response. It is now Monday, and I am still waiting for a resolution from AquaSD. I really want this error to be corrected, but based on their lack of response, it seems unlikely that I will receive any help.
