AquaSD seems to get a lot of feedback and I wanted to share my experience from a fairly neutral point of view. You can decide for yourself if this was a positive or negative experience.
I ordered about 20 corals during a large sale, first of all, prices are great, can't argue that. Most of the pieces are clearly chop shop or just imported and sold asap. But that's what I would expect with lower pricing. My order was a month and a half ago and I haven't lost a single coral and found no pests so far (knock on wood). When I received the order everything was labeled fairly well, the Sharpie had faded on a couple bags due to minimal water seepage but no big deal. While checking the order however I found I was shorted the orange plate coral, which is one that I wanted the most. It was on the included packing list and i was charged for it. I emailed them about it and quickly received a reply that customer service would get back to me. Took a couple days but they finally emailed back saying when they went to ship the orange plate wasn't looking good and they didn't feel comfortable shipping it. From other feedback on this forum it seems this is a fairly common occurrence with them. Now, if that's true, then great I don't want a dying coral shipped to me, but why didn't they notify me about it? Why was it still on the packing list and why was I still charged for it? If I was in a rush or not paying attention I could have easily forgotten that I had ordered it, especially with a large delivery of 20 corals, and they still charged me for it. They offered store credit or to send another one with my next order. I didn't argue this but since it was their issue and not mine a refund is probably more appropriate. Now I have to order again if I want the value of that credit, and it might be a year before that coral is offered for the same sale price.
My other 2 issues are I purchased a wysiwyg trachy and Mayan sun favia, neither of which match the color in the advertised pictures. Obviously different lighting, and it's clear they are purple heavy in their pics, but the favia in particular doesn't even look close. Impossible to say if it's the right coral or not from pictures alone, so it is what it is. Overall again the corals i received are healthy and doing well, sizes were good, no major complaints. I would order again if the prices warrant the chance of not getting the coral or not getting the specific piece I'm expecting.
