I love Goni’s :) my very first stony coral I purchased back in the 80’s, it was a huge softball size head for like $35 ;) I’m just starting a little Goni garden in my new tank.

Here's how mine looks after 7 days in my tank, I hope it will survive [emoji7] Now I would like a bright red one to complement so I'm keeping eyes and ears open if someone have a tip on how to get one (Sweden)

The orange one on the left is awesome. What is the name of that.?
Its a Solar Flare Goni from Reefers Direct - Now TSA. Here is the original pic when I picked it up from them. I'll try to get a new pic soon. Its about 5-6"now. Definitely one of my favorites.

Yesterday I got a new one, I hope this will thrive as much as the other one have during the time we've had it.

So to frag these guys do you just take a frag saw to them and cut slices? Do you mount them to just an ordinary frag disc?
thanks
Jeff

I haven’t done it yet, but I have a large one I’m going to frag. From videos I’ve watched, you basically slice the top off (I plan I put this back in as a mini colony), then slice the rest into disks. You can cut the disks, which would just have an outer ring of polyps on it, into frags and mount them. Does this make sense?

Edit: here is a link showing someone doing it.
