Going to start a 90 gallon reef tank, and need some stocking ideas. Anyone have any ideas?

I have a canister filter and I am also planning on adding 100-150IBS of dry reef rock. My plan is to add it in stages as I can afford along with fish. This way my bio load will not be overloaded but I dont need to have the 150ibs at the start.
Like with any filter system, you’ll want to keep your canister filter clean. They really can trap a lot of waste. Good luck bud.

What canister are you running?

If you can afford it, the Fluval FX6 is the Cadillac in the canister world. 6 stages of filtration and a unique bottom to top to bottom flow design. I just got one on sale at Petsmart last week and I absolutely love it. Ultimately versatile (for a canister) high turnover rate and simple easy cleanup.

A trip to a Live Rock Seller, Harvester, with Buckets and Battery Powered Air Pump(s), for some Live Rock. Cure in Aquarium with Some Blue Green Chromis for Three to Four Months. I did that back in the 90’s and still have that live rock. BTW You don’t need much.
